Melo Reels
Terms of Service
Thank you for choosing Melo Reels. This Agreement is a legally binding document between you and us regarding your use of Melo Reels' services. Before you begin accessing, browsing, or using our products, features, and services, we strongly recommend that you carefully review all terms, especially those concerning liability exemptions, user compensation obligations, potential service interruptions, account security management, commercial advertising, and paid service rules.
If you disagree with any content of this Agreement, please immediately cease further access or use. Once you begin using Melo Reels' services in any form, it indicates that you have fully acknowledged, understood, and voluntarily accepted all the provisions of this Agreement.
For users under the age of eighteen or without full civil capacity, this Agreement should be read under the full participation and guidance of a parent or other legal guardian, with special attention paid to clauses concerning minors. If you register or use this service without effective guardianship guidance, we reserve the right to disclaim any liability for any adverse consequences arising therefrom and reserve the right to suspend or terminate our services to you as appropriate.
I. Definition of Parties and Scope of Effect
This agreement governs the legal relationship between you and us (i.e., the actual operators of Melo Reels) regarding your use of the various products and services provided by this platform. Any individual or entity that accesses, registers, or uses this service automatically becomes a bound party to this agreement.
Within this framework, "we" refers to the legal entity that legally manages and operates this platform; "operator" refers to the entity responsible for the daily operation, service provision, and business maintenance of Melo Reels; and "you" refers to every actual user who uses the platform's products, functions, or services.
II. Account Management Rights and Login Responsibilities
(I) Login Method Selection
After logging in, you will have the right to use the services at the level of a regular user. To minimize the risks of account loss, unauthorized login, and subsequent difficulties in account retrieval, we strongly recommend that you use Google Sign-in or other verification methods with a higher level of security for account access.
(II) Obligation to Safeguard Credentials
You are responsible for properly safeguarding your account information, password, and other identity verification credentials. If you are not using the service, we recommend that you log out immediately. You are solely responsible for all consequences arising from your personal reasons (including but not limited to improper safekeeping or allowing others to use your account), resulting in account theft, password leakage, or abnormal operations.
(III) Platform Liability Exemption
We are not liable for any form of compensation or damages for account security issues, privacy breaches, or related losses caused by reasons other than our fault (such as system vulnerabilities or internal personnel violations).
III. User Information Protection and Privacy Security Mechanism
(I) Core Protection Philosophy
We consider the security of user personal information as the cornerstone of our service system and always place information protection at the forefront of processing user data.
(II) Dual Protection of Technology and Management
When you access this service through a third-party account, we will deploy reasonable and feasible encryption technologies, management standards, and information protection strategies within the scope of our existing technical capabilities, while simultaneously establishing corresponding internal control systems to prevent your personal information from being illegally obtained, misused, or leaked.
(III) Information Access and Updates
You can view and adjust your submitted personal information at any time using the relevant functional modules or service portals provided by the platform.
(IV) Restrictions on External Provision
Except as otherwise mandatory by laws and regulations, we will not provide your personal information to any legal person, organization, or individual outside of this platform without your explicit consent.
(V) Special Protection for Minors' Information
We highly value the privacy and security of minors. If a guardian believes that their minor child (especially a child under the age of 10) truly needs to use this service, one of the guardians may register an account on their behalf in their own name, and that guardian shall independently determine whether the specific services provided by this platform are suitable for the minor's age and cognitive level.
(VI) Confidentiality Obligations Regarding Non-Public Information
We promise not to disclose your registration information and other non-public content and data stored in our platform system, servers, or database during your use of our online services to the public or external third parties, except in the following circumstances:
- 1. You have given your prior explicit consent;
- 2. Disclosure is required by current laws and regulations;
- 3. Provided under legitimate instructions from government departments, judicial bodies, or administrative agencies;
- 4. Necessary to safeguard the public interest;
- 5. Necessary to defend our own legitimate property rights or litigation rights.
IV. User Conduct Guidelines and Commitments
(I) Service Use Limitations
Unless otherwise agreed in writing by both parties, you promise to use the platform services solely for personal purposes and not for any commercial activities.
You must use the products and services in accordance with the methods we provide, permit, or expressly approve. The usage rights obtained under this agreement are solely for your personal use and are strictly prohibited from being transferred, leased, lent, resold, or otherwise given to third parties.
Without our formal written authorization, you may not use any plug-ins, auxiliary programs, add-ons, or other technical means to interfere with, damage, tamper with, or engage in any behavior that may hinder the stable operation of this service.
(II) Breach of Contract Measures
If your behavior violates the above usage guidelines, it constitutes a serious breach of this agreement, and you will be liable for corresponding legal responsibilities. In such cases, we have the right to suspend or permanently terminate your service access, depending on the severity of the circumstances, and have the right to withhold the relevant fees you have already paid as liquidated damages.
If the actual losses we suffer due to your breach of contract exceed the aforementioned withheld amount, we reserve the right to further claim compensation from you and take legal action to protect our rights.
V. Service Provision and Risk Disclosure
You understand and accept that the services provided by this platform are provided on an "as is" and "currently available" basis. Subject to existing technical capabilities, network conditions, system stability, third-party partner factors, and other real-world circumstances, we can only make our best efforts to provide you with services under the current conditions.
We will maintain the continuity, security, and stability of our services with reasonable diligence, but we cannot guarantee that we can completely foresee or eliminate all potential risks. Such risks include, but are not limited to: natural disasters, virus attacks, Trojan programs, hacker intrusions, system failures, temporary service interruptions, accidental data loss, third-party service defects, government regulations, and other losses or service disruptions that may arise due to changes in law, technology, or the external environment.
VI. Terminal Equipment, Network Resources, and Related Expenses
(I) Self-Provided Equipment Principle
You acknowledge that you must prepare compatible terminal hardware, such as a computer, smartphone, or other device with access capabilities, to use this service. All costs incurred in purchasing, maintaining, or using the aforementioned equipment shall be borne by you.
(II) Network Consumption and Additional Costs
You also acknowledge that using the service will consume your terminal device's storage space, network data traffic, bandwidth, and other resources. All resulting communication fees, internet access fees, and data traffic fees shall be borne by you personally.
VII. Advertising Content Display and Promotional Information
(I) Advertising Information Publication
You agree that we have the right to push advertisements, promotional information, commercial announcements, or non-commercial information to you through this platform, either directly or through third-party advertising partners. We may independently change the display location, format, and coverage of advertisements and promotional activities according to adjustments in our operational strategies, without prior notification to each user.
(II) Liability for Advertising Content
We will fulfill our advertising review and compliance obligations in accordance with current laws and regulations. However, you are responsible for verifying the authenticity, accuracy, and reliability of the advertising content displayed on the platform, and you are solely responsible for your own judgment and subsequent actions. Unless otherwise expressly provided by law, we shall not be liable for any loss, dispute, or damage arising from advertising content or transactions based on advertising information.
(III) User's Duty of Prudent Judgment
You agree to exercise reasonable caution when browsing advertising information and independently assess the credibility of the advertising content. Except in legally stipulated circumstances, you shall bear all consequences arising from purchasing, trading, or participating in related activities based on reliance on advertising content.
(IV) Independence of Payment and Advertising Display
You acknowledge and accept that even if you have paid for a service, feature, or content, this does not mean we are obligated to stop displaying advertisements to you. Accepting advertising display is one of the important prerequisites for this platform to continue providing comprehensive services to users. Your continued use of this service indicates your confirmation and acceptance of this arrangement.
VIII. Product Features, Subscription Mechanism, and Payment Terms
(I) Basic Rules for Payment and Recharge
You acknowledge and agree that we have the right to independently decide whether to grant users access to services free of charge or through a paid method, based on different service types and operational needs.
The fees we charge are, in nature, general consideration for providing internet value-added services. The amount you recharge within the platform can only be used for the relevant services directly provided by us under this agreement.
After successful recharge, the amount actually consumed will not be refunded. If you apply for a refund of the unused balance in your account, and the application is approved after our review, we will refund it in legal tender.
Refunds will generally be returned to the account you initially used for payment. A 10% handling fee will be deducted from the total refund amount. If, due to special circumstances, a refund cannot be returned to the original payment method, you can contact us and provide valid account information to complete the refund process.
(II) Fee Adjustment Mechanism
You acknowledge and agree that we have the right to adjust fee standards, billing methods, and related rules as needed for business operations. Once published, the adjusted content will automatically take effect and become part of this agreement.
We may change the price or billing model of existing paid services, or convert previously free services into paid items. Before any changes occur, we will notify you through in-site notifications, page announcements, or other appropriate channels.
If you do not accept the updated fee rules, you may choose to stop using the relevant services. After the changes take effect, if you continue to use the services of this platform, it will be deemed that you have agreed to and accepted the new fee standards and rules.
(III) Details of Paid Services
Some services on this platform may be provided on a paid basis. Before purchasing any services, you should carefully read the service details, prices, billing cycles, validity periods and other supplementary rules displayed on the corresponding page, and confirm the purchase, recharge or subscription operation only after you have fully understood them.
(IV) Paid Viewing Period
Melo Reels may provide paid viewing services. For paid chapters, episodes, or series subscribed to or purchased by users, the viewing period shall be one month from the date of successful payment.
Melo Reels only guarantees that you can access the relevant paid viewing content during the above valid period. If you are unable to continue watching the relevant content after the valid period expires, or if any viewing failure occurs outside the valid period, Melo Reels shall not be responsible.
(V) Virtual Currency and Recharge Rules
Some products or services provided by Melo Reels may need to be purchased with virtual currency. Different products may require different types of virtual currency. When purchasing any product or service, you must use the virtual currency applicable to that product or service.
You acknowledge and understand that you are not allowed to trade virtual currency with other users through Melo Reels. Any purchase, sale, exchange, transfer, or other similar transaction of virtual currency between users shall constitute a violation of these Terms. Melo Reels reserves the right to take appropriate measures without prior notice to prevent or restrict such transactions on the platform.
You acknowledge and agree that once a recharge is completed, you may not request any change, cancellation, or modification of that recharge.
Before recharging for any product or service provided by Melo Reels, you must carefully confirm your account information, recharge amount, virtual currency type, billing plan, and other necessary details. If you recharge the wrong account, select the wrong billing plan, misunderstand our charging rules, or suffer any loss due to your own improper operation, you may not claim compensation, refund, or any other liability from Melo Reels.
(VI) Third-Party Payment Services
If you use payment services provided by a third-party payment company when making a recharge, purchase, or subscription, you shall comply with all terms, rules, and policies of that third-party payment provider.
You shall make every reasonable effort to protect your personal and financial information, including but not limited to bank account numbers, passwords, verification codes, and other sensitive payment information.
You acknowledge and agree that Melo Reels shall not be responsible for any dispute, loss, payment failure, delay, abnormal deduction, or other issue arising from or related to payment services provided by any third party.
(VII) Account Suspension or Termination
If your account is frozen, restricted, suspended, or terminated due to your violation of these Terms or relevant platform rules, you may not claim any compensation, refund, reimbursement, or other remedy from Melo Reels.
(VIII) Payment Discrepancies
If there is any discrepancy between the amount you paid and the amount actually received by Melo Reels due to a platform failure, Melo Reels will take appropriate remedial measures after the relevant data is restored and you provide legal, valid, and sufficient evidence proving such discrepancy.
If the amount actually received by Melo Reels is less than the amount you paid due to a platform failure, Melo Reels will make up the difference after verification.
If the amount actually received by Melo Reels is more than the amount you paid due to a platform failure, Melo Reels reserves the right to recover the excess amount.
(IX) Subscription Changes and Refund Restrictions
You acknowledge and agree that once you subscribe to any episode, series, content, or service on Melo Reels, such subscription may not be changed, replaced, or modified.
Unless otherwise approved by Melo Reels, you may not request a refund of the virtual currency paid for any subscribed paid viewing content.
Even if the Melo Reels service is suspended, interrupted, or the paid content you subscribed to is removed, discontinued, or no longer available, the virtual currency paid for such subscription will not be refunded unless Melo Reels expressly approves otherwise.
IX. Third-Party Products or Services
When you use products, services, content, or features provided by a third party through Melo Reels, you shall comply with these Terms as well as the applicable terms of service, usage rules, privacy policies, and other relevant agreements of such third party.
Within the scope permitted by applicable laws and agreements, Melo Reels and the third-party service provider shall each be responsible for their own products, services, actions, or disputes that may arise.

You must also delete or destroy any relevant information, materials, text, software, audio, images, videos, or graphics obtained or used in violation of these Terms.
Any violation of this section shall be deemed a material breach of these Terms. Melo Reels may suspend or terminate your use of the services, retain the fees you have paid as liquidated damages, and pursue legal claims against you if its losses exceed the retained amount.

If any damage is caused by your conduct, you shall bear compensation liability in accordance with the law. Melo Reels shall not be responsible for your illegal, unlawful, or infringing conduct.
(III) Content Removal and Account Measures

XIX. Users Under the Age of 18
If you are under the age of 18, you are considered a minor and should read these Terms and use Melo Reels services under the supervision and guidance of your parent or legal guardian.
Minor users may not yet fully understand the differences between the online world and real life, may be easily influenced by internet content, and may lack sufficient ability to protect themselves when facing potential risks. - Stay away from unfamiliar, illegal, or potentially dangerous interpersonal activities online.
Guardians and schools should pay more attention to minors using Melo Reels services. Melo Reels recommends that parents or guardians provide appropriate guidance and online safety education to help minors avoid potential online risks.
If parents or guardians believe that their minor children, especially children under the age of 10, need to use the services provided by Melo Reels, they may register an account for the child. However, the account must be registered under the name of one of the parents or guardians, who shall decide whether the services provided by Melo Reels are suitable for the minor.
